story: a tartar is our favourite way of preparing raw tuna. The lemon is key to it´s taste, remember to sprinkle the lemon over the dish right before eating it, otherwise the fish becomes grey.

Ingredients for 4 persons:

  • 500g of fresh tuna
  • 3 tsps of capers
  • 2 tsps of mustard
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 lemon
  • pantry basics: olive oil, sea salt, 2-3 cloves of garlic

 

directions:

  • cut the tuna into cubes
  • capers
  • spring onion
  • mustard
  • salt
  • pepper
  • mix
  • olive oil
  • mix
  • serve with lemon

 

tips:

 

  • try substituting the capers with fine cubes of fresh avocado
  • substitute the spring onion with onion for a more intense taste
  • squeeze the lemon over right before eating, otherwise the fish becomes grey
